Free 'Up The High Street' exhibition opening in Scunthorpe tomorrow

A new and free exhibition opens its doors to the public in Scunthorpe tomorrow (Tuesday Feb 5) at North Lincolnshire Museum in Oswald Road.

Step back in time by seeing shopping as it was from Victorian times to the recent past.

The museum opens Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and on Sundays from 1pm to 4pm.

The museum also opens late on the second Thursday of the month, from 10am to 8pm.

From early March, people will be able to take advantage of free Sunday exhibition tours to discover all the museum has to offer.

They are described as ideal for all the family.

There is no need to book - just turn up before 2pm any Sunday from March 10.

The museum now boasts a 1950s inspired café offering hot and cold snacks and drinks.

It is located within the courtyard garden area and opens Tuesday to Saturday, 10.30am to 3.30pm, and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Sundays.
