Free talk in Kirton Lindsey about children’s dyslexia
Parents across North Lincolnshire are invited to find out about new techniques for helping children with dyslexia at a free talk tomorrow in Kirton Lindsey during half-term.
Marina Elwes is hosting the talk at Kirton Lindsey Town Hall on Wednesday (October 24).
It starts at 7.30pm and will look at some new techniques for helping children who might be struggling at school or at home because of the condition.
Marina is also offering free screenings during the half-term holiday for parents who are concerned their child might be affected.
She said: “Dyslexia often affects more than one family member directly and, in addition, the emotional fallout from an intelligent child not reaching its own potential at school can seriously impact on family life. In helping the child, the life of the whole family improves.”
For more information on the talk or the free screening sessions contact Marina on 01724 278882.
