Freezing conditions as snow falls in Scunthorpe
Light snow is falling in Scunthorpe this evening.
Snowflakes began falling at around 7.30pm and heavier snow is expected from around 9pm tonight.

There will be lows of around -1 degrees Celsius, although icy gusts of wind will make it feel more like -7 degrees Celsius.
The snow is expected to fall until the early hours of the morning and the Met Office is warning motorists about icy conditions that will make driving more difficult.

The weather is likely to be warmer for the rest of the weekend, with spells of sunshine and plenty of showers as the snow and ice melt away.
The Environment Agency has warned that flooding could follow.
Road users are being advised by the Highways Agency to check the latest weather forecasts and road conditions before they travel.
Motorists are advised to take extra care when travelling due to the increased risk of adverse driving conditions.
