Funny folk of business on stage
CHARITY: Hull businesspeople are polishing their acts ahead of Hull Comedy Festival Souper Bowl.
The event takes place at Hull Truck Theatre on Tuesday, with comedian Jo Caulfield acting as compère.

Contestants include Rob Penrose, of Andrew Jackson; Sam Whitaker, of Esteem; Esther Damary-Thompson, of Hull Bondholders; Colin Hart, of KMS Facilities; tax specialist Lindsay Henson; James Clark, of Hull FC; Stephen "Boardroom Busker" Marsden; professional magician Steve Short; and local comedian Jed Salisbury.
Last year's event raised £3,000 for the Smile Foundation, and festival director Rich Quelch has raised this year's target to £4,500.
