Generosity shown through breathtaking fundraising
BREAST cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK.
Every day more than 100 women are diagnosed with the illness and many more people's lives are touched by it.
That is why it is imperative we raise as much money as possible to beat this killer disease and raise awareness.
Early detection is critical, giving patients the best chance of recovery.
And charities are doing all they can to ensure women attend screenings, and raise money for research. Acts which have already saved thousands of lives.
The fundraising efforts of the likes of Nicky Keller are, therefore, priceless.
After seeing the treatment her mother was given as she battled breast cancer, Nicky wanted to give something back.
At her wedding, guests donated £2,500 to Breast Cancer Care.
But now she has dwarfed that figure at a stunning ball.
The charity fundraiser at Forest Pines has generated a staggering £10,000 to the cause.
It is an incredible achievement and testament to the generosity of North Lincolnshire people – many of whom are set to benefit from the event.
Few of us go through life without being touched by cancer. But to raise so much money for the cause is remarkable.
Congratulations to Nicky and all those who helped create this breathtaking sum.
