Girls get taste for Futsal in goal glut at the Pods in Scunthorpe including teams from Bottesford, Broughton and Barton
A FUTSAL event at The Pods has been hailed a "big success".
Organised by the South Humber Ladies League, and supported financially by the Football Association, it was a chance to introduce players and coaches to Futsal.

Six Under-13 girls' teams took part, with sides from Bottesford, Broughton Ravers, Park Tigers, Welton and Barton.
Each team played five matches and more than 100 goals were scored.

"Every one of the 60-plus players who attended took part in the matches and every match was played in a friendly, competitive spirit," said Steve Watson, SHLL League Welfare Officer.
"There wasn't a single foul committed."
Another Futsal event will take place at The Pods this Sunday (January 27) for under-15 girls.
