Golden wedding couple Bryan and Pat Wells met at Redbourn steelworks in Scunthorpe
A GOLDEN couple who found love at work have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Pat and Bryan Wells, of West Common Gardens, Scunthorpe, got married on January 12, 1963, at St Peter's Church in Bottesford after meeting at the Redbourn steelworks.
Pat, 70, said: "We were supposed to be getting married at 12.30 but the snow was so bad that day I was about 20 minutes late because we couldn't get to the church.
"It was a great day but very cold."

The couple went on to have four children and now have nine grandchildren.
Mrs Wells said: "We are a very close family and it is wonderful when we all get together."
