Hearing on Scunthorpe Booze Master off-licence hours extension adjourned
A hearing to decide whether the Booze Master convenience store in Scunthorpe can serve alcohol around the clock on certain days was today (Thursday) adjourned until January.
Bosses at the Frodingham Road off-licence applied to North Lincolnshire Council for 24-hour opening on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Sale of alcohol at the premises is currently restricted to between 6am and 11pm.
The store has applied to extend those hours to between 5am and 11pm on all other days.

The application, which led to 13 letters of objection, went before the council's licensing (activities) sub-committee today.
But solicitor Andrew Pascoe, representing Booze Master, asked for the adjournment to allow more time to consider the application.
Mr Pascoe told the committee: "It is of significance with regard to the area and your decision will be very important not only to the applicant but the area generally."
The committee, chaired by Councillor Keith Vickers (Barton), agreed to the adjournment and a new date is yet to be announced.
