Helping shape city
construction: Building firm BAM Construction has just began its 14th major building project in Hull, in as many years, as it continues to help shape the city.
BAM is starting work on the £8m Boulevard Academy on the site of Hull FC's former rugby stadium.
The firm's projects over the past 14 years have included the Millennium makeover of the University of Hull's student union and Endeavour High School.
The largest project it has delivered is the £98m St Stephen's retail development in 2007.

Late last year, the contractor handed over a 40-cell custody suite and divisional headquarters at Humberside Police and began a major redevelopment of the University of Hull's Brynmor Jones Library in September.
BAM regional director James Wimpenny said: "It is fantastic to maintain our record of averaging a major building project in Hull every year."
The combined value of BAM's 14 projects in 14 years is almost £200m.
