Helping slimmers to change their lives
A NEW website helping dieters change their lives in a quest to beat the bulge and get healthy has been given the thumbs up by the Telegraph Slimmers.
The ambassadors for the Scunthorpe Telegraph's exciting new website www.telegraphslimmers.co.uk, have each embarked on a 13-week challenge to shed unwanted pounds.

And they are thrilled the site is now up and running.
To mark the start of the New Year and a New You, the website was launched on New Year's Day and offers a host of weight loss tools to help our slimmers and other dieters in and around North Lincolnshire drop a dress size or two.
The site features weekly weigh-in videos of the slimmers which will be uploaded each week until the end of the plan so dieters can follow in their footsteps.
Slimmer Sharron Lewis Shores (43), from Bottesford, said she had spent New Year's Day scouring the site to kick-start her diet plans.
"I think it's excellent, very good and I've been on the forums already," she said.
"People can identify with a particular slimmer and the site is easy to follow and the calorie counter is brilliant," she added.
Sharon said she managed to stay off the chocolates to bring in the New Year and hopes with the help of the new site, combined with her exercise regime and new diet, the pounds will just drop off.

“These stupid government adverts frightening us all into believing were all going to be obese by year 2050 . I didnt know I was going to live that long. Chill out and have a pizza, lifes to short ,besides the thing the gov fail to let you is the sharp increase of heart attacks have been blamed on smoking and eating to much fatty foods, when in fact its down to all the stress placed on our hearts from all these high bills that come through the letter box, and thats a fact. The whole weight and smoking issue is just a cover up and blame for all our ills when its really the pace of life we are expected to achieve thats causing all this misery and death. The Government isnt going to admit that are they.”
