Horse meat found in Tesco burgers
SUPERMARKET giant Tesco has been forced to clear its shelves of beef burgers after horse meat was found in a number of products.
Investigations by the Food Standards Agency are under way after horse DNA was found in beef burgers on sale in the UK and Ireland.

Irish food safety officials, who carried out tests two months ago, said the products had been stocked by a number of chains, including Tesco stores in the UK.
A total of 27 burger products were analysed, with ten of them containing traces of horse DNA.
