Humberside Police make a fresh appeal for witnesses to A18 crash at Mortal Ash Hill in Scunthorpe

Police have made a new appeal for witnesses to a road traffic collision that happened on the A18 Mortal Ash Hill in Scunthorpe.

Following inquiries, new information has now come to light about another vehicle possibly being involved.

The collision happened on Wednesday, December 19 last year, shortly after 8am and involved two vehicles on the A18 Mortal Ash Hill, near to the junction with the B1398 turning to Kirton Lindsey.

 A white Renault Clio travelling west on the A18, was in collision with a blue Honda CRV which had been stationary at the B1398 junction waiting to turn right.

Both drivers sustained injuries which required medical treatment. Anyone who has not already given their details to police are requested to contact Brigg Police Station on the non emergency number 101 asking for extension 1711 referring to log 87 of 19 December 2012.
