Humberside Fire and Rescue Service called after water leak on St Albans Close in Scunthorpe

Firefighters were called to a flat on St Albans Close in Scunthorpe after water got onto the electrics following a leak in the property above.

A crew from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident, which happened at around 11.55pm last night (Friday, February 15).

Crew members isolated the electrics in the flat and used a lock breaker to gain entry to the top floor flat, before isolating its water supply and electrics.
