Councillor Liz Redfern, of Epworth, Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “It is a great honour that the BBC have chosen to return to Waters’ Edge again this year.
"Over 1,500 people attended the Stargazing event last year and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
"Let’s hope this event will be even more successful.
"Learn more about the planets, stars, moons and galaxies with local astronomy groups.
"There is also the opportunity to meet local astronomer Paul Money who will be giving talks throughout the evening on Jupiter and Mars.
“We have lots of activities for all the family to get involved in at both venues.
"Come along to this wonderful event and get creative while learning about astronomy.
“It will be a really great night for everyone."
