With the majority of the region's secondary schools converting to academy status, do you think all schools in the region should be made to become academies?

Academies are publicly funded schools which operate outside of local authority control.

The government describes them as independent state-funded schools.

Academies do not have to follow the national curriculum and are funded directly by central government.
