Ibrahim: United spell providing best experience for my career
FOR HIS 329 followers on Twitter, it may come as a surprise to learn Abdisalam Ibrahim has yet to venture into the world of trending and tweets.
The subject of internet imitation, the real Scunthorpe United midfielder prefers to do his talking on the pitch.

THE REAL DEAL: Midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim is determined to use his time on loan at Scunthorpe United to help the Iron avoid relegation and impress Manchester.
And it is out there he is most keen to strike a connection with the fans.
Since making the switch to Glanford Park in January, on loan from parent club Manchester City, Ibrahim has taken the North Lincolnshire club to his heart.
A relegation would not look good on what he hopes will become a glittering CV, but as much as anything, the 19-year-old is desperate to spare Iron supporters that heartache.
"I have heard the fans sing my name, which is really good," said Ibrahim ahead of tomorrow's clash with Swansea.
"Every game I play, I want to give 100 per cent for them.
"Season tickets are expensive, so you have to give something back to them.
"We're all working hard in training because we want to keep this club as high as possible in the league.
"I've settled in well because the manager and the lads have all taken care of me.
"It's like a big family here.
"I'm enjoying it at the moment."
As much as his present lies in Scunthorpe, the Norway Under-21 international admits he hopes his future is very much at City.
Nevertheless, he accepts it will be difficult to make an impact there without first impressing in Ian Baraclough's team.
In that sense, Ibrahim, who models himself on Citizens' team-mate Patrick Vieira, knows his loan deal can work both ways – he can help the Iron as much as they can do the same for him.
"I've improved a lot since coming here because the training is better, it's harder and I play games as well," he explained.
"I'm getting stronger and am doing a lot of hard work in the gym, so I'm improving everything.
"I had been playing in the reserves at Manchester City.
"Obviously the facilities are better but you just have to do what you can to improve.
"I want to be at City for as long as I can in my career.
"But they have a lot of money so they can buy whoever they want.
"There are so many people there but the manager (Roberto Mancini) has said he likes the young players.
"If you are good enough, you are old enough, that's what he says.
"If you work really hard in training and give 100 per cent in games, then he will put you in the team."
