Icy weather conditions cause delays in North Lincolnshire
AN icy start to the day has caused disruption to those travelling in North Lincolnshire.
Although just a small amount of snow fell overnight, people were met with icy conditions and sub zero temperatures in the morning.
Traffic into Scunthorpe was particularly heavy approaching the Forest Pines roundabout from Brigg, but there are no road closures or accidents to report at present.
The Met Office predicts temperatures to stay at or below freezing for the remainder of the day, before plummeting to -5 degrees Celsius overnight.
