Injured man airlifted to hospital from 2 Sisters factory in Scunthorpe
A 40-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with spinal injuries following an accident at 2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe.
The incident took place around 2.30pm today in the Lairage area.

The 2 Sisters Factory in Scunthorpe
Humberside Police cordoned off the area and production at the factory was stopped.
Ambulance and the fire service attended the scene.

A spokesman for Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received the call to attend 2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe at 2.35pm.
"A 40-year-old man suffered spinal injuries.
"Fire-fighters administered oxygen and trauma care and left him in the care of the paramedics.”
Humberside Police later indicated the man was being treated in Scunthorpe General Hospital.
It is understood the injured man works as a machinist.
