Roadworks currently being carried out on Brigg Road are causing delays for many motorists in Scunthorpe.

Northern Power Grid has confirmed that cable replacement work on Brigg Road in Scunthorpe is running to schedule.

Work is currently being carried out on Brigg Road Railway Bridge and this is expected to be finished in two weeks.

Shortly after that, Northern Power Grid has confirmed it will stop work until after the Christmas period, as agreed with North Lincolnshire Council, the highway authority.

    “Avoid like the plague! The roadwork traffic lights are not in sync with the traffic lights on the crossroads of Asda/St Pietro causing horrendous jams. Choose another route”
