Jail for burglar who intimidated victim
A BURGLAR who intimidated his victim within two hours of being questioned by police, was jailed for 16 months.
Andrew Wilson, 28, of Ashwood Close, Burton-Upon-Stather, was with two females who entered a property on Westrum Lane, Brigg, on November 8.

Simon Waley, prosecuting at Grimsby Crown Court, said the tenant was in the process of moving out, but many of her possessions were there.
One of the women was at the address to collect some maps she owned.
She took these but Wilson also removed some ornaments and jewellery.
He was arrested the following day and, within two hours of being released, he rang the complainant to ask her to drop the charges.
Ged Hale, mitigating, said his client did not force entry to the address and he believed the tenant had either been evicted or had done 'a moonlight flit'.
And, he said, all the property had been recovered.
Wilson admitted charges of domestic burglary and witness intimidation.

“16 months you say - lol. He will be out in 10 at the most. Lock him up and if the prisons are full build some more. He must serve his 16 months and on his next offence double it.
Get the thugs off our streets.”

“So pleased he has gone to jail, maybe now we can all have a rest from him.
