A JEALOUS lover angrily pushed his ex-girlfriend and pulled her hair after asking her whether she was in a new relationship, a court heard.

Richard Warner, 35, of Stather Road, Burton-Upon-Stather, admitted assaulting Deborah Lavery on November 3.

  1. CourtLg

Martin Howarth, prosecuting, told North Lincolnshire magistrates that an argument broke out between Warner and his ex-girlfriend after she returned from a shopping trip with Warner's sister, Emma.

Warner pulled Miss Lavery's hair during that confrontation. He later admitted that he had downed four litres of cider and was "steaming" drunk.
