Johnny Cash Roadshow heading to Scunthorpe's Plowright Theatre
The award-winning Johnny Cash Roadshow is coming to the Plowright Theatre in Scunthorpe on Friday, February 1 2013.
It is the only Johnny Cash tribute to be endorsed by the Cash family.

The Johnny Cash Roadshow will be making its way to Scunthorpe's Plowright Theatre next year.
Fronted by respected singer/songwriter Clive John with The Spirit Band, the show aims to accurately recreate and capture the essence of what it was like to be at a real Cash performance.
Featuring Jill Schoonjans as June Carter and two other talented ladies making up the Carter Sisters, all aspects of Cash’s life are covered.

The show takes the audience from the 1950s right up to 2002 and all the stops in between. All the greatest hits are featured, including Ring of Fire, Walk the Line as well as the Johnny and June duets, Jackson and If I Were a Carpenter and so many more.

“Sorry this guy does not have the voice. The music is spot on. Jill is excellent as June Carter Cash but the whole show is let down by Mr. John who seems to think that sticking the guitar head into the air creates the impression of "being there"”
