“Notwithstanding the embarrassing and inevitable prospect of Humberside electing a publicly discredited incompetent and buffoon, Lord John Prescott as its 1st Police and Crime Commissioner!!??
Just reviewing and comparing the Dept for Education figures, this NLC/ST contrived spin alongwith todays report & altogether different slant from the Hull Daily Mail:

I am afraid to say it just about sums up the contradictions, calibre, integrity and credibility of Humberside's local government and political establishment. No where more so, than here on the south bank!!
I rest my case!!”

“The story does refer to the 'provisional' results. Does that mean that they are awaiting lots of remarking because they don't like the results and thought they should be higher.”

“Cannot help but notice that cllr Rob Waltham - as always presumably aided and abetted by our conservative led NLC PR communications tsars - are not unsurprisingly putting their somewhat astute 'rosy tinted spin' on this?!!

As the Dept for Education's Data for Research and statistics for National Curriculum Assessments at Key Stage 2 in England, 2012 AND the bigger truer picture show:

Alongwith Hull's schools; the wider performance figures for North Lincolnshire schools remain the worst for Yorkshire and Humber region. And more importantly remain bumping along the bottom of the league table within the country as a whole!!?
But, nice try cllr Waltham et al!! ;-)”
