Elsham ladies played their biannual match against the seniors and exacted revenge for their defeat in the spring by winning 7½ to 4½ games to wrest the Parker Trophy from the gentlemen.

The seniors also lost their away match against Waltham Windmill by 5½ to 3½.

There was a good turnout for the ladies' autumn meeting with a morning individual Stableford competition and an afternoon Better Ball competition over nine holes.

Shirley Farley was the overall winner in the morning with 35 points, beating Ruth Rutter on a count-back.
