Ladies deliver first class Mail
HOLME Hall have been in unstoppable form in the opening two rounds of this season's Mail on Sunday Cup.
Firstly the team, comprising Jenny Kennedy, Jean List, Sue Bassindale, Sue Brown and Emilee Taylor beat Normanby Hall 5-0.

They then went on to enjoy a similar 5-0 whitewash against Gainsborough, with Joyce Robinson coming in to replace Emilee Taylor.
Holme Hall ladies held an Am-Am on a very cold and windy day but the winners warned to their task with a runaway score of 77 points.
They were Sue Bassindale, Diane Dewe, Judy Kelsey and Winsome Riley.
Four points further back were Eve Shepherd, Jackie Walker and Margaret Sturmey.
Third place on 72 were Shirley Wynne, Joan Tonge, Greta DeBoer and Rena Smith.
This being the last competition to be played during Irene Glennie's year as lady captain, the players sat down for a meal before the presentation of a cheque for £758 to the League of Friends.
The third and final round of a shortened 2009/2010 mixed winter competition was won by Mel and Jenny Kennedy with 45 points.
It took their best aggregate score to 80 and saw them finish second overall in the competition behind Rod and Jackie Gamble on 81.
The first round winners were John Morrell and Jean Watson with 38 points and the second round honours went to Stuart and Rosemary Cranidge (40).
Sixty-six men took part in a better-ball stableford which produced a close finish for all the top placings.
The winners with 44 points were Tony Glew and Trevor Atkinson who beat Steve Spavin and Trevor Johnson on a better back nine.
Third, fourth and fifth were also all determined on count back from several teams who had 42 points.
Tony Rees and young Jack Woodrow finally got the nod from Keith Walden and Alan Wynne and then Nigel Dent and Mike Burgin.
