Learn essential cycle skills at Quibell Park in Scunthorpe on Sunday
An Olympic-themed cycling event is to take place at Quibell Park in Scunthorpe on Sunday (August 12).
The Go Ride Games, run by British Cycling, gives young people the chance to learn essential cycle skills and techniques.

It is aimed at those who are relatively new to cycling, encouraging them to take part in some racing against other riders who are new to the sport.

The event starts with a coaching session from qualified coaches from 11am to 12.15pm.
This will be followed by Go Ride Games racing from 1pm to 4pm, with prizes and medals up for grabs.
The event costs £3, to be paid on the day, and there are also a limited number of bikes and helmets available for hire on the day.
