Much enjoyment has been gained over the years, and down the decades, by teams taking part in the Scunthorpe Telegraph Quiz League.

Here's your starter for 10:

Which teams were taking part during the 1998/99 season?

That campaign began in mid-October with the first league matches and continued every Monday night, with a break at Christmas, through to April 1999.

The league comprised three divisions of eight teams.

Division One: Mill Road Imps, Eagles, Royal, Sherpa, Tasty Coles, Crown, Panthers and Mowdywarps.

Division Two: Berkeley Squares, Queen Bess Tappers, Bridge Hotel, Lincoln Imp, Westlands, Ashby Bunch Club, Beckwood and Wortley Hotel.

Division Three: Priory, Old Mill, Desert Rat, Chancel, Priory Chefs, Robert Holme Dodgers, St Bernadettes, First Team.
