Trip to Lilleshall Rehabilitation unit set to aid Canavan's recovery
DEFENDER Niall Canavan looks set for a spell at the FA Rehabilitation unit at Lilleshall.
Scunthorpe United hope that will speed up the 19-year-old's recovery from a knee injury.

REHABILITATION: Injured defender Niall Canavan.
He has not featured for the Iron since the 2-0 home defeat to Middlesbrough in early November.
He has been troubled again by tendonitis in the knee, a problem he suffered from at the start of the season.
"We are looking to get Niall down to Lilleshall to help his progress," said manager Ian Baraclough.
"It will be a change of environment for him down there which can help his rehabilitation.
"It is taking longer than we expected for Niall to get over his problem."
The injury has been put down to 'growing pains' but the Lilleshall team will be able to have a closer look.
Meanwhile, United have parted company with Aussie defender Trent McClenahan at the end of his three-month contract.
The 25-year-old made just one Championship appearance for Scunthorpe, as a second half substitute for the injured Michael Raynes in the 3-2 defeat at Derby back in November.
"Trent has worked very hard with us but has found himself not getting much game time with us," said Baraclough.
"After talking with him, we agreed it was best for him to look elsewhere."

“Along with Godden - Canavans emergence this season has been one of few positives...personaly, Id start with him and Raynes in front of Jones to partner Mirfin.
What we could do with is a Chris Hope type who simply never misses games - a broken finger would never stop him playing, like Jones.
I bet there are plenty of SPL clubs who would take Jones, who the odd game apart is the worst centre back since Tony Brown
Up the Iron!”
