Lincolnshire County Cricket League to celebrate its half-century with showpiece dinner at Hemswell
A very long-standing cricket tradition is to be broken this spring when the Lincolnshire County Cricket League - 50 years old this year - goes it alone and stages its own annual dinner and presentation evening.
For decades the county league has held its annual function jointly with the Grimsby Cricket League, latterly at Grimsby Town FC.

League chairman Bob Welton describes Paul as a forthright and very entertaining speaker.
Bob decribes the dinner as "a celebration of the Lincolnshire League's 50th year."
The Lincs League will be holding its mid-winter meeting tonight (Wednesday, January 30) at Market Rasen Cricket Club, 7.30pm. All member clubs should be represented.
This will be followed by the AGM of the Broughton and District Evening League.
