Lorry driver critical after crash
A 58-year-old North Lincolnshire man is in a critical but stable condition following a crash on the A1, reports tonight say.
He is being treated at Darlington's Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
A 38-year-old man from Stockton-on-Tees died in the crash, which happened at around 2am on Tuesday morning.
He was driving a HGV carrying bottled gas when it was involved in a collision with a second parked HGV.

His vehicle was then involved in a collision with a third vehicle, a HGV that was being driven by the man from North Lincolnshire.
The Stockton-on-Tees man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The A1 northbound, south of Catterick, was closed for more than 17 hours after the crash.
The Highways Agency said the road had needed emergency resurfacing because of a corrosive spillage from one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
North Yorkshire Police has said no-one else was injured in the crash.
