The supernatural story tells the tale of Angel-May Black, who has been kept prisoner for most of her life until, on her 17th birthday, she is chosen by the gods to possess a power.
Wendy said she was pleased with the response to the book so far.
She said: “I started with 400 copies and I have got 150 left, which is surprising.
“I got told I would never sell more than 100, so I have done pretty well.
“I am trying to get further outfield now and I went to the London Book Fair at Earls Court earlier this year.”
Wendy, of Wootton Court, overcame dyslexia to write the novel.
Her second book, entitled Dark Wings, is set to be published next year.
