Is MP’s involvement a sign of Labour’s policy for future?
Is this a new policy of the Labour party, advocating free parking in town centres, from the Scunthorpe MP Nic Dakin?
Is it that they are at last realising the detrimental effect on town centre shopping that car parking charges have in the viability of high street shops?
Is this policy to be adopted by any future Labour council which may take over North Lincolnshire Council?
Because, when North Lincolnshire Council was first formed under the control of the Labour Party, they could not wait to take over our free car park in Brigg and install parking meters to tax the people shopping in Brigg, on an area which was given by the shopkeepers to provide free parking for their customers. - Ken Braithwaite, Brigg
