retail: Hull's Pyjama Shop received a special visit last week.

Alan Johnson MP, pictures, visited the Pyjama Shop at Hull Royal Infirmary to meet new apprentice Emma Holder and donate a baby hamper to Tracey Bateman, manager of the Neo-Natal Unit, this will be given to the first new born Easter baby.

The business is run by Alvin Riley, who, having been unemployed, started up his business with help from the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme and Sirius.

Mr Johnson has been a supporter of the Pyjama Shop and has given his support throughout the disruption following the construction work being carried out at the hospital, which has disrupted trade during the past few months.
