Man sleeping by roadside triggered police alert
A man who fell asleep next to a busy road triggered a police alert.
The man, who was around 18, was found asleep by officers on Howden’s Hill in Scunthorpe at around 2pm today.

A member of the public had rung police to express fears for the teenager’s safety after seeing him slumped on the floor.
The man, who was found with an energy drink by his side, has now been taken away by police.
