Market Rasen race meeting cancelled along with All Street Sport sessions in Scunthorpe area
The meeting at Market Rasen racecourse scheduled for Thursday (January 17) has been abandoned because of the weather.
That follows an inspection carried out at noon today.

The Market Rasen race meeting has failed to hurdle the bad weather successfully
Officials say two inches of snow is on the course and with overnight frost forecast, the decision has been taken to postpone the meeting.
The next racing at the course is due to take place on Tuesday, February 5.

Meanwhile, the All Street Sport sessions due to take place tonight have been cancelled by North Lincolnshire Council.
The Met Office forecasts further snow for Scunthorpe this afternoon.
