KIRTON in Lindsey Town Council is discussing the possibility of moving the location of its meetings.

In an attempt to save money, the council has asked clerk Cate Neal to research rental prices at other possible venues in Kirton in Lindsey.

Jack Startin, a member of the town council, said at the council's most recent meeting: "We are duty-bound to find out what other people charge.

"We need to show the electorate that we are spending money sensibly."
