Met office predictions of snow are correct for Scunthorpe area
Met Office predictions that snow would hit the Scunthorpe area this afternoon have proved correct.
Light snow started to fall in Scunthorpe today (January 18, 2013) shortly after 3pm and the Met Office warn it is here to stay into the evening and overnight.

Temperatures are currently stuck below freezing at -1C and the snow is expected to continue into tomorrow (January 19, 2013).

“Up until 14.47 today the Met Office site had been showing the snow starting in Scunthorpe at 21:00 but have now corrected it to 15:00 so Simon you are wrong.
Woodhouse Pass? Barbara Woodhouse? or do you mean Woodhead?”
