Meteor lights up the skies over North Lincolnshire
Hundreds of people reported seeing a huge meteor in the skies over North Lincolnshire yesterday evening.
The sighting happened at roughly 11pm and has left locals baffled and amazed as it soared over the area.

Witnesses believed it to be falling directly over Humberside Airport and Immingham Docks.
Humber Coastguard received 29 calls immediately after from people believing it to be a flare of distress while ten reports came through to Humberside Police.

It was described as green and blue in colour.
Humber Coastguard's Matt Atkinson, said: "We received 29 calls in total. People though they were flares for people in distress but we have confirmation that it was something from space."
According to national reports, people across the country saw the meteor.
