DESPITE rumours suggesting the contrary, Scunthorpe United manager Ian Baraclough has rubbished speculation linking him with Millwall attacker Lewis Grabban.

The 23-year-old has been out on loan this season at Brentford in League One.

But Baraclough believes an active agent is to blame for any link.

"Now there is a new one," said Baraclough of the rumoured interest.

"You are going to get a lot of agents doing their work, quite rightly, and they are going to link people with clubs.

"But I haven't heard anything on that one."

“Good to hear it's been dismissed. Not at all convinced that he's the type of player we need.”

“Of course it's rubbish - he's a striker! We only buy midfielders and defenders. Our Championship future is safe in the hands of our current strikeforce. Save the money for next year.”

“I hope we get more than IBBY in for Leeds game, but there again we are used to being disappointed ,hope a few of our "injured" players recover in time to take at least a point from Elland Rd”
