Morley pleads not guilty
ELLIOT Morley has pleaded not guilty to charges of theft.
The Scunthorpe MP appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London today, where a solicitor acting for him said he intended to argue his expenses are protected by parliamentary privilege.

He said Mr Morley and two Labour MPS charged over their expenses claims had 'steadfastly maintained' their innocence.
Mr Morley was released on unconditional bail and ordered to appear at Southwark Crown Court on March 30.
