UPDATED: Motorists delayed coming into North Lincolnshire on M18 due to jack-knifed lorry
A lane was closed at the M18 roundabout near Stainforth in South Yorkshire - causing delays for motorists coming into North Lincolnshire this morning (Thursday December 6).
It closed because of a jack-knifed lorry and fuel spillage, resulting in traffic queuing at the M18 roundabout.
South Yorkshire Police said the road was closed between approximately 8am and 9.30am.
The exact location was the roundabout at Junction 5 of the M18, just past the entrance to the service station.
Police said a white articulated lorry "travelled onto the traffic island." A barrier was damaged, but nobody was injured.
