“I'm still baulking at the £2000 mark-up on one of their wines. I can just imagine the type of person who would buy it!
The ST has a love affair with Winteringham Fields, just as Dakin has one with Fallen Hero.”

“While we're talking about Winteringham Fields what happened to all our comments on the article about the 17 year old waiter from there who got thrown out of a pub during the restaurant's staff party outing and ended up getting into an argy-bargy with an off duty copper who had to resign and got done in court as a result?”

“I totally agree with the previous comments.
1: What's the point of having an "Issue of the week" that doesn't allow comments? Duh!
2: That food looks disgusting, not just the colour but the general presentation. It looks like it's been thrown onto the plate by a chef with no arms and bad eyesight. The sauce looks like dog's vomit and the meat looks like an autopsy specimen.
Sorry, I'm not in a subtle mood tonight!”

Most husbands would be in court for 'attemping' murder if they had that served up after working an 8 hr shift.”

“And here's my second top tweet:- the meal in the photograph looks anemic, not very appetising or edifying, the big question is, how much is it going to cost me? No don't answer that.”

“Well here's my top tweet:- ISSUE OF THE WEEK - how come we are not allowed comments on such an innocuous article as Christmas shopping?”
