New art gallery in Ashby

An art gallery offering paintings and vintage pottery will start trading in Scunthorpe this week.

Ashby Arts, located on 251 High Street in Ashby, will officially open on Friday, March 22.

It will sell genuine art, original art, oil paintings, studio pottery and glassware.

Steve Bunn, owner of Ashby Arts, the former manager of Scunthorpe Conservative Club, which closed in January, said: "I have always loved art all my life.

Paintings will start from £30 and range up to £1,000.

The art gallery will also be doing commissions.

Ashby Arts will be open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
