New homes plan for Barton
Eight town houses could be built on land behind a pub in Barton-Upon-Humber.
Planning permission is being sought from North Lincolnshire council for the three-bedroomed properties on a site behind the White Swan public house on Butts Road in the town.

Planners at Pittwood are considering the application for new homes in Barton
The land is currently a grassed area which has previously been used as a bowling green.
The application has been submitted to the local authority by architect John Whittaker.

“Isn't this site in the flood plain?
It certainly states so on the Environment Agency map, on their website.
Will they be allowed to build here, and if so, will any insurance company be willing to insure them? If not they are un-mortgageable.”
