New homes plan revealed for Brigg pub site as old Luddington hostelry becomes takeaway
PLANS to build 21 new homes on the site of a former pub in Brigg have been unveiled.
Well-known North Lincolnshire company Keigar Homes is seeking permission to put the dwellings where the Ancholme pub and its car park used to be, off Grammar School Road.
The 52-year-old pub was demolished late last year.
The application for the 21 homes, with access road and parking, has just been lodged with North Lincolnshire Council.

The authority says it will accept comments from interested people up to February 18.
A decision is not expected to be made before late March.
Meanwhile, the council has approved an application to change the use of a disused pub in the Isle of Axholme.
The former Lincolnshire Arms, on the High Street, can now be used for retail and hot food take-away purposes.
The council has added a condition limiting opening hours to between 8am and 11pm.
North Lincolnshire Council is currently considering applications to demolish the Poacher pub in Scunthorpe and the Carnival Inn at Barton.
The intention is to re-develop both sites, subject to planners' approval.
