Normanby just the ticket for days out
North Lincolnshire Council - looking ahead to the warmer weather – has issued details about what's coming up at Normanby Hall Country Park and is stressing the benefits of buying season tickets.
The authority says the former stately home provides the perfect day out for all the family.

Normanby Hall, near Scunthorpe
Season ticket-holders can visit the park as many times as they want from April until March 2013 and enjoy free entry to the Hall and Farming Museum.
Season tickets also allow free entry to events at Normanby Hall, such as the Food Festival on June 17.
New activities and events being launched this year include:
- Tots' Time sessions in the Farming Museum every Monday during April and July (term time only) from 1.30pm to 2.30pm – parents and toddlers can enjoy themed creative play, get messy, handle museum objects, sing and healthy refreshments will be provided. There is no need to book.
- Reminiscence sessions in the Farming Museum every Friday during April and July (term time only) from 1.30pm to 2.30pm – for anyone over 60 interested in sharing memories and being involved in an informal friendly group.
Booking is essential, as places are limited.
During the school holidays discover more about farming life in fun drop-in activities.
At the Farming Museum visitors can:
- Discover what dairy life was like through handling objects
- Enjoy story time in the cottage
- Have a go at using the printing press
- Find out about how the large machines worked
- Have a go at rural crafts in the cottage
- Learn about Victorian childhood through handling objects.
Councillor John Briggs, Cabinet Member for Asset and Estate Management, Sport, Leisure and Culture, said: "I would encourage people to visit Normanby Hall Country Park with the array of fun filled activities to take part in and the season ticket offers superb value for money.
"A family season ticket is £20, a season ticket for two people is £16 and a season ticket for one person is £12.50."
