North Lincolnshire motorists advised to be careful on the roads due to icy conditions
Motorists are reminded to be careful when travelling in icy conditions today (Wednesday, December 5).
Forecasts for the region warn of a frosty start, icy patches with untreated surfaces and a cold northerly wind.

Sergeant James Main, from Humberside Police, tweeted: "#TrafficAlert the gritters have been out but there is some serious black ice on the roads, slow down & drive with care #HumbersidePolice
The IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) today issued advice on driving in snow and ice, with freezing conditions across the country set to continue for days to come. IAM Chief Examiner Peter Rodger said: "Avoid travelling unless completely necessary, and don't ignore police warnings or advice to avoid specific routes"
