North Lincolnshire weather and traffic update: 7.40am, Thursday, January 31
A sunny but windy day is expected across North Lincolnshire today.
A yellow weather warning, meaning people should be aware of the possibility of strong wind, has been issued by the Met Office and will remain in place for the rest of the day.
The latest forecast suggests a westerly wind could reach speeds of around 25mph in Scunthorpe, although sunshine is expected for much of the day, with temperatures set to reach 8C.
Motorists have been warned to expect high winds, with an amber warning from the Highways Agency to take effect from 10am.
