Offenders from Scunthorpe sentenced by magistrates

THE following cases have been heard at North Lincolnshire Magistrates' Court:

Peter Mark Taylor, 36, of Redbourn Way, Scunthorpe, pleaded guilty to theft and handling criminal property. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and was ordered to pay compensation of £100 and costs of £85.

Julian Michael Heatley, 38, of Cottage Beck Road, Scunthorpe, pleaded guilty to speeding and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He was fined £55, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £105 and was disqualified from holding a licence for six months.

John David Leaning, 49, of Buckingham Avenue, Scunthorpe, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while over the alcohol limit and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. He was fined £400, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40, costs of £85 and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 17 months.

Andrzej Rzezicki, 58, of Hallgarth Avenue, Scunthorpe, pleaded guilty to speeding. He was fined £60, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £40 and his licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
