A family firm in Brigg is hoping that the Buy Local campaign will help raise the profile of the business.

The Brigg Window and Conservatory Company is a family run firm that has been in the industry for 27 years, offering windows, doors and conservatories.

As part of the campaign, the firm is offering Buy Local customers the chance to have an additional product added to their order for free.

Owner Maria Portess said:

"We are hoping that people who don't come to Brigg will read the paper and come and see us.

"We are very much a family run business. Since my husband died five years ago, me and my son Lee have been running the business.

"We make our own frames and fit them all and have our lovely conservatory outdoor showroom in Brigg.

"We fit a quality product at a reasonable price."

The firm offers products in a full range of colours, all tailored to the tastes of the customers.

Maria also said the company can offer electric and heating work as well as the building work.

"We employ our own builder and can offer everything from building work to plastering and can fit tile or laminate flooring," she said.

"We can do as much or as little of the work as is required."

The firm also offers windows and conservatories as well as a wide range of doors, sun rooms, porches and car ports.

Maria also said that at the moment there is a trend of customers purchasing orangeries.

To get exactly what product you want, a colour chart is available for customers to chose from various colours and shades.

Maria said: "Everything is made to measure in a wide range of colours.

"People need to come and have a look and see what we can offer them.

"Everything is bespoke made and made just for your design.

"No two are alike – everyone's will be something different."

Buy Local customers who purchase a conservatory will have the option of having a wall-mounted digital heating unit, an air conditioning unit, fans or lights fitted at a reduced rate. Decorations for doors and windows will also be available, as well as reduced pricing on floor tile fitting.

Based on Bridge Street, the showroom is open between 10am and 4pm seven days a week.
